wanted 96-98 cobra intake

thats right i want a intake, air tube, and fuel rails. not to picky but if you have any of this stuff i cannot buy it until after i have the intake. if you know where else to look besides mod site then tell me i want this for my mark obviously.

Yo i been on ebay for ever and the only one i find is the 99. Know somebody on here has the 99 on thier mark but i dont know who. if it can fit w/out changing the4 heads i will get it. But i been looking forever and cant find one the last one i saw (98-98) was either sold or bought by ponyfreak. that was a while ago be fore i reenlisted for 4 more years in theMarine Corps and got a little bonus spending cash.
 
The 99 intake should fit on your car if you have a 97-98 M8 because it has the different heads you need. Right? Gen2's have the B heads, Gen1's have the C heads?

All Mark VIIIs have the same heads.
 
There you go.....I had access to a complete 99 Cobra engine a long time ago and I was going to just take the intake, but someone said I needed the C heads, I assumed that because I had a Gen1 that it was the Gen2s that had the C heads.
 
Nope the C heads started in 99 I believe. Good thing you didn't try you would have wated your time! Why not just get a whole 99 or newer engine. =)

Damn, how much did you pick that up for!!! Nice find too bad you had to sell it. Although tuning that with eec-IV might have been a pain, maby an upgrade to OBD2 would have been in order.
 
Haha....old new J, but it still hurts. Obviously it wasn't meant to go in my car, instead keep me out of debt.

Actually I traded a full size Blazer for it :D
