today is officially the first day of the 2007 hurricane season here in florida and already what was supposed to be some rain for us finally( after 26 days on no measurable rainfall) has turned into tropical storm barry. when it rains, it pours!! my area is expected to see wind of 45 mph for tonight and tomorrow till mid day and up to 3 inches + of rain. now me personally i like tropical depressions and storms because the wind feels awesome and the rain is so past much needed. tropical storms arent too bad, although they can cause some mild damage they usually just cause coastal flooding and beach errosion. i dont care how the rain gets to us at this point as long as it gets to us, its just funny how the very first day of the season and we already have a tropical storm and tornado warnings!!
