Nice pics Steve. Looks like you got the hang of it now 
. So you use flickr to store your pics... i noticed that these are pretty big 350kb+ photobucket always butchers my pics a bit and they don't allow bigger sizes such as you posted.
That green car has a very odd color didn't like all that much...?

I am in the market for a DSLR... thinking about a D40 or rebel XTI since I got a decent canon lense already...

I have 22k on mine.
No new lense yet. I want to get the carl zeiss. Get the XTI since you got lenses. Don't get the kit, get just the body with the XTI.
That is the plan... problem is the body costs as much as body+cheap lense. Because most discounters don't carry the body only.
D40 has lower resolution and bit less features but it costs $200-300 less! Trying to get my dad a nice present for his 50th... that I can borrow from time to time as well
