I'm going to cry.

I noticed how clean that car is when you showed the fuel tank photos. I wish my cars were that clean.

Please, do get it running again, and be careful.:)
 
gave it a little to much gas going around a corner lost control and hit s treee stump, tore the stump right out of the ground.
 
Is the radiator and oilpan OK?

The bumper, grille, lights and all can likely be gotten from a junkyard or ebay. Hood looks OK? The $$$ will be in the straightening of any structural damage and the airbags.
 
we might need a new radiator and the oil pan is fine. one of our neighbors owns a local paint and body shop, im gonna talk to him some time this week.
 
i think i might put some stuff on ebay.

i will also be accepting donations to help- j/k. haha

dont know where else im gonna find the money to fix this, maybe i'll get another job.

That would burn me bad...
I had just bought a plug-n-Go HID kit for Nyghtshayd when my fuel pump went...:mad: So I haven't been able to see them on the road yet...:frown:

I hope you fix the Emerald.

not someone, but a tree stump on the side of the road. lost control going through a turn gave it too much gas and ended up running into and tearing the tree stump out of the ground.
 
To be honest with you... your car is beyond salvageable....

By the time to collect the air bags, lights, grille, hood, other trim pieces... radiator support, etc etc. You will have spent more money then getting another mark VIII for about $1500.
 
yeah thats kinda what im thinking but, my dad wants to get it running again, i kinda want to get an older toyota truck or 4runner, but in order to do that i need to get money and that requires selling this car, and no one wants to buy a smashed up lincoln.

But still, $100? That's the price of a beater car anyway. First time I've ever seen a wrecked Mark VIII before. Condolences.

I beg to differ (please, please, may I differ?:) )

This is a Mark VIII. This is not some throw away Toyota or Honda.

I think it's worth repairing. These parts can be cheap if you do some shopping around.

Plus it's always a good feeling, repairing something yourself, instead of just throwing it away.
 
i have 2 front bumpers, one is ivory, the other is white, i dont have any of the other parts you need though at this time, juts the bumper and inner foam, but shipping it to cali from florida may be around the 60 bucks mark, plus 125 for the bumper.
