Died

Yesterday my wife drove my 1995 Mark VIII LSC to the store. After an hour or so she came out and "IT WON"T START". Haven't been having any trouble with it. It turns over freely, tries to start but will not. Any ideas?

Search here for "Crank sensor" and/or "Cam sensor".

Try unplugging the crank sensor and plugging it back in. Works 90% of the time.

fuel pump? crank sensor? stick your ear in the gas fill door opening and have someone turn the key on see if you hear the fuel pump.

another way to "test" for a bad fuel pump is to hit the bottom of the fuel tank with your hand a few times pretty hard. this will usuley jar the pump enough to make it work a little longer to atleast get you home so you can change it in your drive way. how meny miles are on the car and has the pump ever ben changed that you know of?
