we'll get it running again.
someday.
p.s. its still worth 100 bucks.
no offense but take it from someone who has parted out over 300 marks in the last 7 years, there is no where near 5 grand sitting there lol, its hard to pull 5 g's off a 2nd gen in similar shape or better. there is maybe 2,500 tops. the highest selling items are in the nose, and there isnt one left on that car! you'll make decent money parting it out but dont even think you'll come close to 5 g's. you would be pretty upset if you were to expect that. if i could pull 5 g's off a 1st gen parting it out, i would be a millionaire years ago.
Honestly, I dont think a first gen owner would like a second gen as much. I have both, I think the Gen 2 is plusher and better looking but damnit, I like the way the Gen 1 drives better. The steering is a big part of it as the Gen 1 steering is heavier than the Gen 2 and feels more connected to the road. The Gen 1 feels faster as well.Glad you're ok. Too bad about the car though. If you get a decent settlement ($$$) and you're still into Marks, why not put it towards a '97 or '98 and seeeeeee for miles! Plus get a better tranny to boot. Seems as though there are some really nice cars available in the southern US.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.
