What should I do?

I just finished putting a new air comp. on my air ride. I have replaced the oil pump (?) gasket. ( On the front of the motor, drv. side.) It had a serious oil leak. Also I had the car died one day. Had it towed home. It sat for a while. I went to figure out what was wrong, I thought fuel pump, and it started up. What the ???? Any how. I like the car, and I would like to keep it. What else do I need to do? What is there to look out for? Any preventitive mesures? The car was owned by a ford tech that took good care of it, so it was in good cond. when I got it. I do notice, the ass end seems bumpier than before. I hear mentioned here an adj. on the suspen. but how? Where? Dont want to sound dumb, but.... Oh well. I know boats and fiberglass, but not cars too much, and not the ins and outs of mine. Any help?

Oh I just had the ass end drop over night. Not the one night, but it did tonight. And only the back. What the hell is that? If it was all the time, I would understand. It did this before too, but sometimes it was the entire car. This time just the back.

I just replaced the compr. from American. The bags were new also less than 2 yrs. ago. Also new front air struts. Like I said, the rear only droped last night. The other night it was fine. Before I replaced the pump, it would drop the entire car, sometimes. The guy at american said it may be seals, and was going to send me some, but didn't. ( Not a bash, he was great. ) I am also wondering about the rest of the car. What else to look out for?

A good preventative measure on the air suspension is a spyder valve from americanairsuspension.com.

Have you looked over the TECH/FAQ pages for other info? Lots of information there to keep a Mark VIII going. ;)
