Front suspension problem '95 82k

From some days, the front is completely low, the rear normal. When I start, often I have the alarm "check air ride" (time out I think) so I stop engine, open/close the door and restart and it is OK. But even when I drive I have this alarm, but not regularly.
I think there is a leak, but why the 2 air shocks are low?
Is the solution replacement of all the front is the only?

Thank you

It sounds like you may have leaky front airsprings.

Go to Eddies website below and spend some time reading up on how the system works and how to diagnose it. Go to the air suspension help section first.

http://www.americanairsuspension.com/

Then, if you do need new airsprings I'd recommend new 97-98 original Ford Motorcraft units. They can be bought online for much cheaper than the dealership.

Thank you for infomations, I think too to a double leak.

But on the Ford Motorcarft site, there is only rear shocks, and nothing about air, or I don't found.

The americanairsuspension is great, all informations are interesting.

Do you think I need to exchange rear air system and compressor?
see you

fastpartsnetwork.com has the front airsprings for 360 dollars apiece.

I'd just do the front airsprings now if there is nothing wrong with the other parts.

Yes Unity, that was a price for a gen 2 airspring.

Your price is much better though.:)

Hi

I have ordered new parts in Arnott industrie :

Front struts $167 each
solenoids $14.50 each

Very good contact for international buiseness

Well good luck with that, keep all you paper work. There has been less than stellar service and quality with Arnott. They typically fail just after a year. They are great when ordering, but when you call back with a problem or anything involving YOU getting money back, well....

Oh and KEEP your old ones. If you end up with a bad one down the road, Arnott will require you to send it in before they send a new one out so you will be strut-less for a couple weeks while they "inspect" it.

Thank you for informations. I have no answer about international shipping with americanairsuspension or fordpartwebsite.
Arnott answer immediatly and as a good price for shipping

If you find details on the americanairsuspension site, you will see it is the Arnott's they sell now.
Very often here, we can see this address about suspension, I think it is a serious vendor, so I guess he sell good parts......

I have had a problem with left front 2 monthes after, the boot have a hole and of course car is stopped. I was at 400 miles from my home, a sunday, so the assistance takes the car.
Arnott asked for a photo of the problem and sent a new one directly where the car was without any problem.

Even I have heard bat information about us, I recommand this vendor

Pull the wheels and spray the air bags down with soapy water. Look for air leaks, bubbles. If they leak they must be replaced.

Just to ensure I am reading this right; American Air Suspension is selling the Arnott front air bags now. Quality is questionable but may have been improved lately? If you want the best, find the 97-98 air bags from Motorcraft?
