Thanks, Sharon :) lol, The track told me they wanted to look at my lug nuts, to make sure nothing was missing. So, I had to remove the center covers from the OctaStars. First time that has ever happened :)

My brand new custom made rims were sent back to California to be melted or destroyed, since they drilled the wrong hub pattern. They are going to make a brand new set from scratch.

ROFL! Those are just ocatstars without the center cap?! I really do like the look though.
 
Yep, I think Mike may have lost a thousandth of a second or two with the centercaps off due to wind resistance. :p

It was a grand time. My regret was the event being so short. No time to get around to all the different groups. I did get to see the mythical GoldBird, Reinhart's Marauder and Trilogy's car. I met some of the Mark VII gang in the staging lanes

After dinner with the Lincoln group, a few of us caroused around the Impala guys 'gazebo party'. :D

My 'photographer' thought it was too cold and the only pics I got were from my cell phone. Here's a couple...

I got a ton of pics from everyone. I can actually stand and walk now from the "gazebo party" and the jet lag from sleeping all the way back in Marvins car. lol. Ill post more tonight when i get laptop unloaded. Something about the secret green martinis that did me in. haha Used to beer. At least you can count them with empty bottles. haha Great show and runs for everybody. Great party at the end too. Guess im not as young as i thought i was going into that party. :eek:
I'll post more later on tonight.

Jeff, wake up! lol It is the next day, and still no pics! lol you lightweight... :) Ryan told me he slept the rest of the weekend too lol. :)

I did too... And I did not have a single drink all weekend! What does that make me? Real Old? lol :)

haha yep, back in action, but a few days late on posting. My truck's water pump inlet gasket blew out yesterday when i was pulling in driveway and stopped to get mailbox. Im on it today, then onto the correct fuel rails i got yesterday in mail for the Mark.

I have pics and videos i took in my camera that i loaded to laptop and also all the pics and videos Gary took dumped onto my laptop. I ran out of room and had to keep clearing my little 1G card. Gary had the monster storage card and took alot more. Mine filled up quick taking vids at 14 seconds each, enough to get final time and track announcer call outs.

Ill post them here later on tonight when i get back from my girlffriends house from jacking her dock on the water and replacing wood on some of the structure that is leaning.
haha Why is it that i have more work to do when i have time off and not when im working? lol (I'm still on leave, or so i thought?) Ok, i'm out to replace waterpump on the Silverado for about an hour.:) Glad it happened in my driveway and not on the way to Texas.
