No pictures of any Fords!
That 120 MPH is good for a low 11 second 1/4 if you can hook it up! My 71 Mustang ran a best of 11.47@117 MPH. But that car hooked up pretty well!

thanks for sharing the pics

That Chevelle and orange Camaro were sweet. Was that blue painters tape he had in the rear 1/4? to protect paint from burnouts? Pretty cool idea, no sticky residue when you peel it off. At first it looked like it was painted on there? haha Yeah i saw the dealer tags too on the Vette.
I wonder who will be buying a flogged Vette in the future? "naaa it's just delivery destination demo miles, right here in the parking lot" "not to worry". haha

That's how you properly break in a brand new LS7! Gotta get the rings seated! As for no pics of Fords, my GF took the pics and except for the Mark VIII she doesn't think too much of Ford products.

Either way, that is the kind of GF to have! I hope my next one like fast cars like your GF! LOL

Nice pics. I think it's just as fun looking at some of the other cars as it is racing when you go to the track.

...and that Orange Gen 1 Camaro, speaking of Girls...is driven by a Girl...and she wins almost every week....AND...she is in High School! When she doesnt win, it's usually in the finals...and it's to...another Girl in another Gen 1 Camaro!!!

track temps...and Corrected Altitude...

we were 1200 feet below sea level until 10:30am...and 600 feet below at 1:00pm

but on the good side max...trophy ran two time runs back to back at 8:30am and 9:00am...and that was it...until eliminations at 1:30 pm!

typical Infineon trophy class treatment.

BTW...you should see Marc's wheel-standing El Camino now..

10-0's...on the back bumper.

I saw the El Camino run, if it can hook up a bit better it would easily be in the 9's.

Ummm...looks closer pal.
that car will out-60 foot a 9 second car, and drag the rear bumper, leaving bare marks on the track, and requiring the wheelie bar wheels to get changed after every event.

If it could run 9's...it would run 9's....and believe me...it hooks up better than any other car that I have ever seen EVER...absolutely zero wheel spin...100% traction.

next time he runs, and you're there, come with me to the starting line and you'll see. it DEFINATELY hooks up.

Craig, if it's hooking up so great why is it doing wheelies almost to the 330 line? If the suspension was setup better shouldn't the car be more planted to the ground?

you said "if it hooked up better"

when dealing with a heavy car, torque is the name of the game...to utilize all that torque, you will have a ton of weight transfer.

You said "if he hooked up better"...I say riding the wheelie bars with the front end 3" in the air IS HOOKED UP. ;-)
