I believe my actuator is worn/broke in my steering column on my 1993 Mark VIII. I am trying to manually start the car for the time being but having no luck. I think I have found the ignition control switch, but I'm really not sure. I need to know exactly what I am looking for and what to do...

My key was stuck in the ignition, so I bought a new ignition cylinder. The new cylinder installs fine, but I can't get the key to turn far enough to start the car or far enough to remove the key. Any ideas?
