18" Wheels -- 16" Spare

Hi all - Obvioulsy I don't know the simple answer to this but I have 18" wheels (almost) and a 16" spare. Can I run the spare and what are the dynamics please.

Assuming the OD of the 18" tires is near stock, the spare will function as intended.

the spare is smaller than the rest of the tires anyway.

If you put the spare on, take it easy. ABS might not function as intended, same with traction control. If you have a limited slip rear end, try not to drive too far with the spare on the rear.

I have a stock rear end and am putting wheels and tires on that are really close to the same diameter as stock. Should be no problem?
