I just got my new set of 18x9 Saleen Speed-Stars 5-4.25 bolt pattern +36MM offset and 245/45R18 V-rated tires from Brad cudaz101@yahoo.com . The wheels and tires fit with no issues and the handling is amazing compared to my previous 16x7 Octa-Star/Michelin tire combo. These tires aren't as quiet as the Michelins, but it is HARDLY noticeable unless I have the radio off. The car absolutely handles like a sports car now. I took some long, sweeping, Florida interstate on ramps(our only curves) at speeds I didn't think a 4000 pound car was capable of. My old Michelins squealed like crazy at much lower speeds on the same ramps.

I knew you would like them, I love mine too. Brad is a good guy to deal with.

Those wheels look better on your silver car than they do on mine. Awesome.

needs more sidewall to fill the well up

The new tires are the exact same height as the factory tires(26.6"). It just looks like they are shorter because of the larger rims. I've thought about lowering the car, but just haven't found the time.

So when do we see the Ocstars for sale?? I'd love a set of Ocstars to keep my car still stock.

Looks great.

What brand/type of tire is that?

Are Speed-Stars available in 17x9 for our Marks?

What swayed your decision to go with 18s over 17s?
