2000 Lincoln LS Front Bumper

Good afternoon. It is good to be back here. It is unfortunate that I only get around here when I have a problem. I appreciate all the help I have gotten in the past!

Hopefully this question will be an easy one. A while ago they were doing construction on the highway and created a bump in the road. The bump was unexpected and the front of the bumper hit the ground. This did not cause damage to the visual area on the bumper but it did cause an issue with the piece of plastic that runs under the car. I have heard it called a Belly pan or a skid plate or a front vallance.

This plastic looks like it's sole purpose is to protect the under part of the engine and has a couple clips that holds it to the bumper. I have temporarily fixed it with zip ties but would like to fix it permanantly since it looks kinda ghetto right now.

Does anyone know the proper name for this piece of plastic and maybe have a part number that I can use to order a new one?

Thanks in advanced!

Thank you so much Frankie! I couldn't do it without you!

On a different note, I am on my way to the shop right now to pickup my car... This time: Ignition Coil #6 misfire, or so they say. They wanted to clean the intake and change all the plugs again and wanted $500. I laughed and plan to do it myself.

These misfires will become easy to track down now since there is only 2 left that havent been replaced.

I may just replace those 2 while I am replacing the plugs.

Regards,
Keith

Still battling those misfires?

Did you ever resolve the oil-in-the-wells problem? Was it long term seepage or are the valve covers leaking?
