2000 mustang, noisy brake pedal?

Both my wife and my sister in law have 2000 V-6 mustangs, and both of them have a noisy brake pedal, not the brakes, but the pedal. If you press the pedal all the way down, the last three inches or so squeeks, alomst like rubber or something. It sounds like it needs lubed or something. ANybody have any ideas? are there lube points for the pedal?

Look for plastic bushings in the linkage. Seems to be an issue with our Ford fleet at work, especially on the clutch pedals. I know I seen some HD ball-joint type replacements online once.
