THE TIME IS HERE!

Our 4th Annual Spring Fling car show @ Advance Auto Parts

It is time for us to have another show @ Advance Auto Parts (NEW LOCATION IN CENTEREACH) There's also going to be a car wash and raffles.

This will be open to the entire Lincoln Mark Series, years from 1940-1998

Also we are going to have a Peoples Choice Trophys that will be for 1st,2nd and 3rd place for all the Mark VIII's and a separate class for all other Gens. All of the trophys will be peoples choice and decided by ballot.

Goodie bags will be giving to the 1st 25 registered show cars!

This is their newest location on long Island and I have to say the parking lot is real nice with alot of spaces.

I feel like there were some crazy rules about where you had to live to join an event, or something like that...

Of course you are allowed to come to the show, as stated on the flyer it is for the entire mark series. If you want to come just to hang out you are more than welcome!!! As for the "crazy" lol guidlines in becoming a member, all we ask is for you to of course have a Lincoln Mark VIII because it is a Lincoln Mark VIII Car Club and Live in the Tri-state area so being a member you can attend meets and events. We are not a national message board but a local car club that has a message board for local members to communicate with each other. I hope that clears up any questions for you :)

Jeff, I put you on my calendar but I have to say, you seem to pick show dates that conflict with other very popular publicized shows. There are at least three other major shows on that day in different parts of the Island. You should make it a point next year to attend the President's Meeting in February where all the clubs on LI get together and submit their dates to a calendar and "try" to avoid conflicts. Also, your rain date is Mother's Day, a notoriously BAD day for car shows if you know what I mean.

By the way, last year we spoke of the possibility that you may want to do a "show within a show" and have a Mark VIII meet with separate judging at my Sears show on July 18. I have another club doing this and it should work well, let me know if you have any interest.
