hello every one i have a 88 lincoln towncar 5.0.I am replacing the transmission will any ford od transmission fit . and any tips on removal and installation would be appreciated.I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD OD TRANS IN THE SOUTHERN ONTARIO CANADA AREA.::uh::

You should have an AOD. You'd be best off looking on ebay.ca or in local junkyards. You can also have it rebuilt.
