Here's a Gen 1 trunk lock cover that I just finished refurbishing. The red paint was all crappy, and the chrome was coming off and wasn't salvageable.

I removed all the paint residue and polished it up real well. Then, I painted the Lincoln star with Ford Performance White touchup paint, and the remainder of it with some Black Metallic touchup paint, both made by Dupli-Color. There are some scratches on the face of it, but I polished it up as well as I could. They're not really noticeable unless you're looking for them.

I think it came out really good looking. With the amount of time and care I put into painting it, I'd like to get $55 shipped for it.

The next one I'm doing is gonna be another one for Driller for the Blue Flame. This one is gonna go on his 96. I think I have one more left after that. You want this same color scheme?
 
yes black and white or black and red i can ship you mine as a core after you ship me the replacement. mine is clean I just went outside to check the chrome
