93 engine swap into 97

Need to convert to coil over plugs (eliminate coil pacs). That being OBD1 I don't know how easy on the electricals. Scary stuff that electrical business.

I'm assuming you want to swap just the "mechanical" portion of the engine. All you have to do is swap over the intakes, rocker covers, knock sensors (under the intake), and thats about it....oh, all the brackets on the front for the coil packs. Oh, and the rear heater core tube on the back of the block. The crank/cam sensors are the same, the flex plates are the same, the exhaust manifolds are the same, and the power steering and A/C setups are the same.

I've done two of the opposite swaps.....97 into my 95. It will work....

Basically, you're just doing a "long block" swap. So strip the 93 motor down and install all the 97 stuff.
