Please excuse all the nonsense that preceeded this posting. I thought I was quite literate too, lol.
So embarrassed.

Ok, Lets try it again. I think Mark has got me on the right track and lets give it a try.
The car is a '98 base model with 15K miles. Came from Newport Beach Ca and I have all the paperwork and window sticker. Little old ladies husbnd passed on and she traded it in for a new Chrysler. I saw it on the internet during my daily search, lol, and called and had the internet guy remove the ad from the computer. The windows still have the alarm info on all four windows and I also have the cheap little CD holder Lincoln provided. There are brand new tires and factory fresh wheels I will be selling very soon. Car will get a tint and some wheels and tires before long.
Being in the auto upholstery all my life the first thing I did was on the way home stop at my sons shop, formerly mine, and we repadded the sagging drivers seat. Passenger seat to follow. This was almost as big a problem as the blend door, lol. I hate wrinkled leather and you can wee what is possible in one of the pictures. Also not good for people with bad baacks. Any advice just ask.
So happy to be back in the mix again and love the car.
Thanks to all for being helpful.

RE: '98 Base Silver Frost 15K mi.

It looks beautiful! Congrats on the great find. And you know what, I know there's interest here in how to build up the driver seat. In fact Hubby mentioned he wants to do it on his.

RE: '98 Base Silver Frost 15K mi.

If there is some interest I can post the "how to" to tell your local upholstery shop what you want them to do. This was a big flaw in the Gen 2 cars especially. I can also give you some better before and after pics as well.
thanks for the coments,
Barry
