Air compressor compatibility

Hello all,

New here and plan on buying a gen II in a couple of days but the car I am looking at has a bad compressor according to the owner. Anyway I have a 84mark VII sitting in my backyard and here is my question is the mark VII compressor the same as the mark VIII

They are very similar, but mount different. Not sure if the mounts could be swapped over.
 
Try calling Eddie at American Air Suspension, he probably could work out something with you on trading in both of yours and him supplying you with one of his rebuilds.

Hurry to it before I have to buy that one too.:D
 
You're in MI, on the east side. There is a 97 for sale, with supposedly a bad compressor.

M8 world is very small ;)
 
I believe the driers on the mark 7 only have two air line holes, where the mark 8 has four air line holes.
