and PINKS ALL OUT fans?

hi folks, long time, no post.

last year we attended the Pinks ALL OUT season Finale' at our home track Infineon raceway. we competed with two cars, none of which were chosen, but our team-mates were(the yellow El Camino)

anyway...this year, the season Finale is being held at world famous Famoso raceway near Bakersfield, Ca

any So-Cal people planning to attend? any racers entered?(it sold out to race entries in January)

we'll be there again with the Peanut truck, and Tommy's wheels-up 9.30 Camaro
we decided to buy a motor home a few months ago, so we are spending 4 days at the event.

Looking forward to it. If you've never been to it, but have seen it on TV, let me tell you first hand...it aint no bracket race...it's a game show that features some cars...and $10 grand in cash to the winner.

we've set both cars up to be able to endure a hot lap, just in case.
 
I'm familiar with the show. I love the concept of it, how it's more or less a hustle at the drag strip. The host gets on my nerves like no one's business, though. I hope you guys do well, and if I flip to it, I'll look for ya. On a related note, are you familiar with Pass Time? Another interesting game show of theirs where the contestants guess 1/4 mile times and also compete against the "resident expert", Ken Herring. Anyways, they had an episode featuring "Arizona's Fastest Street Cars" club, and one of the guys from our Mazda club got to run his Sonic Blue '03 Cobra on the show. "Doesn't LOOK like a 500 horsepower car!" is what he was told before he quietly got into his car and ran something like an 11.02 in the combo round. :)
