another speaker question

So I'm hoping to get all new speakers for my car from my wife this Christmas. According to several sources 6x8 speakers fit in the back and in the front, is this true? Also does this cause to much low end sound? I'm looking at 3 way Pioneers by the way.

Check with crutchfield they have pretty accurate stats. I would go with a good set of 2/3 ways. There really isn't a need for 3/4 ways because the the single tweeter is too much anyways... adding 1 or too even smaller ones will just make your ears hurt.
