Anyone's System Check Work?

So thought, heh I've had cars like this before...only the gauges and warning etc. were seperate. I'm talking about the System Check button.

I had a rear flat the other day, just for the heck of it I hit the button...it said tire pressure was fine. It ran out of windshield washer fluid, but the system check said it was fine.

Finally, I'm sorta used to my dodge dinging and bringing up a little lighted gas pump when I'm low on gas. The Conti doesn't do anything. I noticed I was completely on "E". Decided to get some gas.

Before I did though, I had to try the system check...lol. It said gas level was OK...boy, what a joke. Not to mention when it got hit, it said all exterior lamps were OK.

Is this thing fixable? If so, what could it be? Thanks for any info as usual. :D

Thats wierd...maybe someone with a Conti can chime in, but you'd think it would work. :)

Yeah, wonder what module controls this. What does yours say when you're low on fuel, or if you've noticed any other activity. Didn't most Lincolns come with this? I believe my '93 TC had basically the same thing in it.
