Caddy vs Avalon

Just thought you might enjoy that tonight I raced some fool off a light in a newish Avalon, with the DTSax which was loaded to the gills with stuff from school...

The Avalon took me off the line but about halfway through the intersection I was next to him, and by the end of the intersection I was a nose ahead and kept pulling away from there...

I was honestly a little surprised that the Avalon didn't at least stay with me, and the way the guy had been driving, there is no way he didn't have it to the floor...

I had an Avalon as a rental car last year...it wasn't bad but definitely not a car that would please me.

I for sure was not impressed with the speed of the car....unsure if there are multiple engine options available.
