On Feb. 29, the Nothern California Fords car club(www.californiafords.com) held a "show/cruise" event in Dublin Ca.

Us bay area Mark VIII owners (Golden Gate Mark VIII) decided to make our Lincoln's presence known.

Coldasice(Serge), Extra Dry 95(Brenda), Black Ice LSC(me), Johnaec(John,in his beautiful T-bird) all met up first in San Rafael.

From there, we headed east across the Richmond bridge, and met up with Mrrobertstv(Stanley), Obby(stephen), and Workoutman(Hurley).

Coldasice couldnt join us for the drive to the show, so he headed back home, and the rest of us headed out to Dublin. It was a nice 25 mile drive through an area that has recently had a freeway sniper in the news(oh please, if you shoot my car, hit the rear window so I can get new rear window seal!!!)

Bobber101(Bob) met us at the car show in his awesome Graphite gray Gen 1 LSC.

Once in Dublin, we parked our Lincolns/T-bird amoungst about 100 Mustangs. It was a sea of Ponies, and you know what? They all stared as our cars pulled in. We were able to find a nice spot to line them all up. I was amazed at how many Mustangs there were. But alot of them, no matter how trick their superchargers, chrome/polished engine compartments, and aftermarket wheels were, alot of them took the time to come over and see the original 4 cam cars. It was pretty cool.

Here's some "line up shots" for you.

At 1:00pm, most of the Mustangs headed out on the highway for a 20 mile cruise. We elected to just hang out for a while, then took a cruise of our own. None of us knew the area very well, so we just found some backroads to open the Marks up a little.

After about a 1/2 hour of terrorising Dublin's neighborhoods, we decided to go our separate ways.

Thanks to Coldasice, and his un-capped exhaust for coming out to meet us(finally). At least I finally got to see his BAD ASS LSC in person(and HEAR it). Folks, his car has 120+k miles, and you'd never know it by the looks and the way it runs!

Bobber, thanks for joining us. Stanley, as always it was a great time. John, thanks for bringing the T-Bird out. The Cobra R's look killer on that car. Workoutman, thanks for taking my car for a test drive. That second gear chirp, and the coils ride pretty sweet, huh? Your Gen 2 carriage roof looked spectacular, as always. Extra Dry 95, thanks for keeping up with me on that last leg of the trip. I had to hear my car "chirp" into third on that stretch of road. Your "chipped" 95 hung in there very well.

Sorry the pics had poor lighting. It was overcast, and I had a low memory setting so I could take alot of shots.
