I just received a nice letter from Val at Carlisle Events saying we had met the requirement for the club tent this year! This means we received a refund check for this year's tent charges and qualify for next year's tent without pre-payment. :D

(Do you suppose us being the last tent to vacate left an impression? LOL)

Thanks for all the hard work getting people to pre-register and thanks to all the participants for helping meet this important goal!

Keep up the good work for next year!! :)

The site is up but no shopping cart is setup yet. I imagine it will be soon.

Come to think of it, we all should send Val an email expressing our appreciation. :)

Getting the discount is so cool! I thought we just missed the boat on that one . . .

I would love to get registered as early as possible for next year; we have our hotel set anyway. It would be great if members that go every year have it done super early ;)

It's one of those "you had to be there to appreciate it" moments. ;)

After the event had closed down Sunday afternoon, several of us were still lounging around at the tent. Val stopped by and chatted for a bit. We all thought she had come by to urge us on our way but she simply replied we would probably not be kicked out 'til Monday. LOL

A few minutes later however, a large utility box truck rolled up to the tent. The driver inquired how much longer we planned on staying since he had to dismantle the tents and we were the last one. :D
 
This might have been answered somewhere else and I missed it, but who won the best tent competition?
