central fl meeting

If it in Orlando, so will I. I just didn't want to travel to Tampa. Maybe throw this up on the other Lincoln sites.

Yeah but isn't a little awkward meeting up with some dude just cause he drives the same car as you?. At least if its a few people..............car meets are just weird. The one Jamie put together was pretty cool but I dunno.
 
well i want to do it again but no one shows interest at all. i thought our meet was great, nice cars, cool people, good food, and right at the ocean, free swimming for everyone, then i tried it again, and it seemed everyone who made it to that one, fell off the earth, so i gave up.
 
Car meets aren't weird, they're great. I've met a lot of new friends at meets. I go to everyone that I can. I also really enjoy the little meets, where we just work on someones car(s).

I wish you Florida guys could get together, I know Jamie has tried many times.

You've got so many nice Lincolns down there, and the meet season is all year 'round.:D
 
I agree with Bill. I was really nervous about my first meet, but it was so awesome. I don't know, there's something about these cars that you seem to find that those who own them actually have a lot of similar interests and are quite fun people to be around.
 
well with our meet, i had a blast, we had tons of food, we had a grill all to ourselves, plenty of charcoal, we had a pavillion that was built on the edge of the water, nice shaded area, good conversation, the weather was beautiful, plus we got some awesome pictures with the gulf of mexico 10 feet behind our cars, i thought for sure it was a hit, i said finally, it worked out, now it will be easy to keep them going after this turn out, apparently after we all left, i was the only one who had a good enough time to want to do it again, because no one has ever said anything else about it, or wanting to have another one, i dont get it, maybe no one else cares about the cars as much as i do, so sitting at home on a perfect weekend is more fun then hanging out with some good people and relaxing in a park somewhere.
