Chameleon Gauge Lights

RE: Chameleon Gauge Lights

That's pretty slick. :)

Is the EGT gauge pre-turbo or post turbo?

RE: Chameleon Gauge Lights

My EGT is post turbo, I back out of it 850*-900*. I want to try some water/methanol injection and see if I that will allow me to crank up the fuel with the BullyDog Programmer. }(

So are those gauges controllable to any color of choice?

RE: Chameleon Gauge Lights

Yes, they are...I just video'ed it running in auto mode to show all the colors. The controller has an up arrow/down arrow to run through the colors..just stop when you get the color you want. Also has an intensity control. I did do a muffler delete...sounds great!

I'm not running any fuel controller/chip in it and probably won't till I get a LOT of miles on it. It pulls the 30' fiver just fine without anything....stays in cruise control for any of the hills around here. I really don't need to get into it with Ford about any warranty issues. Only have about 6-7K on the clock. Taking it out tomorrow to the KOA in Gettysburg, PA for the weekend.

linky no worky for me

my question is, can you set up the gauge to change colors at a certain reading? Like have the whole tach turn red at a certain RPM or the whole EGT gauge turn yellow then red at predetermined temps?

because that would be sweet.

"linky no worky for me"

Funny... I just tried it and it worked for me. Anyway, no, THAT would be neat if you could program "red lines" for each instrument. I'm afraid that they are not that techy yet. Hell, this is the FIRST set that even had more than one color! Just google discountpowerparts.com and it'll give you their web site.
