Cheap New AIR bags and other stuff

Um... good luck with those. When they fail, dont buy them again. Arnott is fine for rear bags, but the fronts have a VERY high failure rate.

yes i can attest to that. i live about an hour or so from there main wearhouse i got the whole system from compressor to bags all around. the factory guy came out to my house had instilled the whore deal. i forgot what it cost that was 4 years ago but i think about the $900-1100 range installed. well i am still on one of those rear bags the other went out about a year ago and the other now has a slow leak. the front bags lasted me about 7-8 months per set (went through about 4 sets) untill i finley went to t-bird coil struts in the front. the compressor lasted about a week (went through 3 of those at 1 week each) finley drove back to the arnott HQ and got my money back and got a ford compressor that is still in the car 4 years later and working like a champ.

think about it its all in the name there parts "ARE-NOTT" good. if you never lessen to another word i say their stuff is 100% crap send it back or if it has not shipped yet cancel the order i would not even put there stuff on the car. the rear bags are OK at best but the fronts and the compressors are 100% pure junk. trust me ive been there done that and burnt the tee shirt they gave me lol.

that stuff is cheaper than arnott and from what i hear is a lot better. i have not used their stuff but i hear they they use ford parts when they rebuild their bags.

the mark bags are just a poor design in general the bag folds over it self as it drops witch causes a lot of stress when you "bend" the rubber that sharp with that most force on it.

thanks for the info !!
i guess i should hade done a better job in searching for parts !!!:frown:

no prob i just went to google and typed in "lincoln mark 8 air ride" and that was one of the first on the list. i was just trying to save you the install time a few times over and a little of not a lot of money in the next few months.
