Check Spare Tire!!!

Just a tip, if you haven't checked it in awhile or ever, do yourself a favor and check it now. I had a flat yesterday, and wouldn't you know it, the spare was flat as well. Thank goodness for portable air tanks. I never had checked it and it was just plain low on air, as it had never been used before. I was lucky I was in a shopping mall instead of on the side of the road in all this cold snowy weather.

They are checked on every vehicle every spring. Took that same lesson for me make it a part of regular maintenance.

I forgot to do that and had to drive a few miles on a nearly flat spare.

I had a flat and the spare had about 20 psi. drove it 15 miles that way. and i still haven't checked it in over a year now.

Thanks for the replys. I thought I'd surely be the shinning example, it's good to be in great company. LOL
