Anyone know if you can have wheels rechromed? My 1994 directionals are starting to peel (didnt know that could happen)

A word of caution when considering rechroming wheels like 20 or 10 spoke directionals. They are very labor intensive to rechrome correctly due to the variations in geometry. A quickie job can be done but it won't last long before peeling or bubbling. A quality job will run around $200 ea. Any less and I'd be suspicous of the quality.
My suggestion would be to find a good used set which do surface from time to time. Not usre if you have the 20 or 10 spokes. The 20 spokes are less costly to purchase used. 10 Spoke chromies in excellent shape can be expensive and sell almost immediately after being advertised.
