Cloudiness Is Gone Thx To Bud....

Bud offered some expert advice about how to clean up my headlamps. They had been bugging me since I bought the car. And if he wouldn't have given any advice, I would have been trying to pull out the whole assembly thinking the cloudiness was on the inside.

Anyways. I don't own an electric drill, so I gave it some old fashioned elbow grease with some PlasticX from McGuires.

I'm fairly happy with the results....

Now how do you all recommend putting drainage holes in the rear light enclosures?

Headlamps look good!! Sorry to hear you don't own an electric drill, cause now you are gonna have to buy or borrow one.

I too, had/have the neon taillight problem and 'glitch' helped me. He makes/sells a new inverter to install for your failed one. Here is alink to the instructions to test your light to see if the problem is the same as I had. See here: http://www.markviii.org/~glitch/inverter.html

He makes it pretty simple to figure it out. Any questions, email him. I believe his email is there with the instructions.

FWIW, mine looked very much what you have there now. I did drill vent holes in might before I installed the new inverter (Ballist).

RE: Cloudiness Is Gone Thx To Bud....

Lights look Good!! I used the same stuff with elbow grease as well. I do have a drill but was away for the weekend and decided to try it a little at a time. It made a diference but i will do more with the drill.

That being said, can someone tell me how to rid the moisture from the inside of a lense? I have one with moisture and i am concerned it may ultimately blow my bulb. We all know i dont want to be winking with the bulb prob we have. Thanks all in advance.

Just use a polish pad attachment. Most hardware stores have 'em. Cheap.... Don't forget...low speed! You don't wanna score up the lens. It just is easier than using elbow grease.
