Cobra Spare Tire

Hi All,
Glad to be back! I have to say I got a wealth of information over the years from LOD enabling me to enhance my 93 Mark to it's fullest..

My problem is finding a spare tire to go with the Cobra Brake conversion.

I went with new hubs with the FoMoCo lug pattern. Installed 18 Cobra R wheels, 4x cross-drilled rotors, rear caliper brackets, Russell front braided steel lines.

I found that Ford Motorsports has a 17 inch temp spare rim but it needs a 155 70 R17 tire which I cannot find anywhere...

If you have the trunk space it might be worth buying another fullsize, or get 2 and put your sticky tires on them for track use.

Looking at a tire conversion chart it shows a few different sizes that are close to the size you are looking for.

One of the sizes listed is 215-50-17 which is only off by a very little bit and tire rack has a few different choices in the 215-50-17 size. Hope that helps you out.
