Yes but with some minor mods. But why would you want to change it. The stock one flows more than enough for even a cammed up Mark 8. You would be better off spending time on porting the intake if you want it to flow better. The intake is the major restriction not the TB. If it's like one of your first mods I would spend the money on a good set of UD pulleys, pull the silencer and change all your fluids to synthetic. With a little more cash, custom programming.
 
Well I only ask becasue I can pick one up for like 10 bux, and it looks all new and purdy. I've got gears and exhaust so far... I made a post asking about porting the intake and there has yet to be a response. Do you have any advice on porting the 2nd gen intake? should i work on the irmc's too? chip is coming soon, 99% sure its coming from you lonnie. Thanks in advance lonnie I know how busy you are.

Save your ten bucks and put it towards gas...the Cobra TB is a waste of money. The throttle cable connection is completely different and not compatible with the Mark setup. Aside from that, it is a nearly identical casting and offers no performance benefit.
 
I like the staged opening of the gen. 1 style(hav'nt checked out the gen 2's) imho crisper throttle response(could be made adjustable if wanted) than both on a common shaft.
