Cold Air

I have looked thru all the posts and have yet to see one on any info about where to get a cold air intake system for my 93 MK 8 or is this somthing that I will have to make ? Thanks jim

Most guys here just make their own intake systems, including myself. Geno sells a kit and I sure a couple other guys do too.

Take off all of the extras attatched to the intake and plug up the holes. I'm sure someone will post a picture of their intake system.

best bet is to get a K&N and drill out the air box and cut it up. this i will be the cheapest and still give you what you are looking for.

Do a snorkle delete. It's Free!! Utilize the stock filter. all the fresh air you will want.

I've done it.

Originally I removed the OEM setup for a conical filter setup.

I later swapped my C&L MAF/K&N Cone Filter/LMS IceBox setup seen here...

... for an in-fender CAI setup using a Pro-M MAF, PVC pipe and a K&N conical filter. It was a kit from densecharger for a '96 Cobra 4.6L modified in piping to mimic a T-Bird setup. You have to lower the suspension compressor and remove the silencer to allow room for the air filter.
