I had a 95 with a higher ratio rear end, not sure what it was, it ran about 2300 rpm at 70. It had a magnaflow dual in/out in place of 3rd converter then straight pipes back. Was too loud or droned at hwy speed.
Just put a heartthrob dual in/out w straight pipes on my 94, but this car is base and runs about 1800 at 70, nice and quiet inside at hwy cruise. Can't say for sure if the magnaflow would've been quieter with this car, but had heard others complain of drone. It does however drone around 60 mph on a local 2 lane hwy. So I guess they all got a spot somewhere that will be annoying, at least it's good on the interstate. Oh, and sounds real good at take off and idle.
