I drive a 1999 Lincoln Continental. I've noticed a creaking noise that sound like it's coming from the floor under my driver's seat. I've tightened the bolts holding the seat and every nut and bolt under the car. Still, the creaking continues.
I can make the car creak if I accelerate hard or break hard. Sometimes, the car creaks when I pull into my sloping driveway at slow speeds.
I took the car to the mechanic and they lubed everything and said that the car was in good mechanical shape but they couldn't find the cause of the noise.
