Custom exhaust

If I was to go to an exhaust shop and they did custom exhaust, what might the general price range be? not looking for anything crazy just not a friggin noise maker. I like a growl but only when I get on the throttle now when I am at an idle. Messes with my music 2 much

Anyhow I have a bad exhaust leak it sounds like near the front(I already replaced the big section piece before and had the manifold to cat on the left side hollowed out.) Not sure if its a gasket or what that is leaking, but my car is almost dying at idle. Could have be an EGR issue also..... the shop is taking a look at it today and smog/registration is due Sunday

Just thought i'd inquire about this because I rather not pay 400 bucks for the one piece and still have my stock exhaust restriction.

So I talked to the shop I was referred to. Asked them how much it would cost for true dual exhaust. Can't do it buddy, not in California anyhow. I asked about something that would help with the stock restriction and not be 2 noisy... he suggested MagnaFlow for 175.00$. What do you guys think. Would this be about as useful as putting exhaust tips on? Or will it really be that much of an improvement over stock?

Which shop is this? If it wasn't A-Ford-able in Rio Linda then you ain't getting the BEST deal. Let me know before you get ANY exhaust work done.
