Dash Kits

Has anyone purchased a dash kit for their car? Ive called several places and they do not have a kit for the mark viii. any suggestions?
 
ok i found out the 1993 does need a dash kit. BUT i cannot find the wiring harness. also is the thick grey wire the amp that i would need to bypass? where is it located?
 
You shouldn't bypass the amp because you will need to re-route the speaker wires. Do a quick search in the forums here... we have posted the correct part #s that you need many times.
 
ok thanks!, BUT what if i bypassed everything. removed the stock amp, and ran wire from the new speakers to the headunit and then did my power and ground and just made a whole new system?
