Well, in error I purchased this movie. I meant to get another J-horror, but I wasn't paying attention.
I'm really happy I screwed this up! OK, this movie was made by Peter Jackson in NZ in 1992. It is apparently the goriest movie ever made.
It's a zombie movie, much like Shaun of the Dead. This movie was absolutely hilarious! Of course, I was expecting something much different, but once the movie got going, with the lead character's mother being bit by what looked like a claymation rat from Skull Island, the fun didn't stop.
I guess this movie isn't for everyone, it looks like it was banned in a lot of places, and the R rated version that came out in the US had a lot of minutes cut from it.
But, if you like things like Shaun of the Dead, definitely check this movie out.
