Drag Race on Superbowl Sunday!

there is a drag race at Infineon raceway on Sunday Feb 1. I will be racing my Mark VIII, and Brenda's brother will be running his 9 second racecar.

Anyone who wants to go run their car, or just hang out, let me know. I'll find you and show you around. its pretty entertaining, and quite alot of fast cars to gawk at.

Gates open at 7:00am, time trials begin at 8:00am... eliminations start around 12:30pm
race fee $40.00 spectators $15.00

Wish I could make it.... It would be a heck of a drive, but hey I'm off Monday !. Who knows, Maybe I'll stop by !

You all should have my cell # by now. Please, give me a call if you want.(or PM me for my number) I highly advise, if you are coming to watch me make a couple passes, you need to be there kind of early. There are usually quite a bit of cars, and there will probably only be two "time runs" which are practice runs, and they usually start with "street" (the class I will run in). So, if you want to see me run, you should either try to get there before or right at 8:00am, or byt 10:00(the approx time our second run is). otherwise, first round eliminations start around noon and being only my second time out in this car, its gonna be tough to go rounds. Therefore, I may not make it past the first round of elims. GET THERE EARLY IF YOU WANT TO SEE ME MAKE A/FEW PASSES!

I would be happy if someone could bring a camera too. I will bring mine, but no one to take pics of me with it. Brenda wont be there. I only have video of my car at the drags. I would love a couple snap shots too!

p.s. there are PLENTY of other cars to see. 7-8 second cars(200mph), Brenda's brother's 9 second camaro I help tune as well. its really alot of fun.

Bundle up, and bring some money for the snack bar. John.... its alot more fun during the weekend events!!!
