Hello all,
back in 2002 I purchased a mint 1998 LSC, moderatly equipped (no sunroof or heat seats) with 11.5k miles on it from a FL dealer. Drove it up from Fl. to NY.
My intent was on using it daily, but little stuff started going wrong; I stuffed the car in the garage & started ordering parts for it. Today car has 15.7k miles racked up, and I have the tilt wheel & blend door parts needed to make the car right again. I hope to retire soon, so I have a nice project waiting!
I started my auto dealership mechanic career at Eastman L&M Greenwich CT. back in 1976. (I was 19!). Worked at a few LM dealerships until 1980, Buick after that. Worked on & drove many fine Lincolns & Mercs between those years. Most notable was a 1956 Mk II the CT. dealer owned. I can't believe how fast time has gone by!
