I saw a link where geno posted 2 pictures of where the engine was lifted with a hoist and chain from the front.( lost the link) but I havn't seen any pics from the back. where on the back should you attatch the chain and bolt? also the transmission will still attatched so I need to work around that, if possible. also could someone point me to any links with pictures?

Contact Grifter. HE pulled his out and has pictures of the removal. His was engine only though.

Both heads have a drilled and tapped hole that you can hook a chain to with 12mm x 1.75 bolts

RE: engine lift points

yup.. thats where i hooked mine.. i wish i had a longer chain on the load leveler, so i could have used 4 bolts to lift.. would have made it more stable i think

RE: engine lift points

just make sure to take your time and double and triple check EVERYTHING that motor is sooo much heavier than you would ever think it to be.

I know, I went to the junk yard when the motor was on the ground and I grabbed the flywheel and moved the whole back of the engine off the ground, oh yea this isn't so heavy.. they delievered it and I figured me and 3 of my friends could lift iot off the truick.. no way.
