Engines that fit in Mark VIII

I'd like to see where you get your info from a stock 06 GT made 267 with the auto (motortrend) they make about 270-280rwhp with the stick...

The stock Mach 1 makes around 280... so it sounds pretty much the same to me... I would seriously take a 3V vs a 4V when the difference in power is this slight... less moving parts less probs in the future and less weight.

Less moving parts? Since when do modern engines throw rods or eat valves? And less weight? I could be wrong, but wouldn't that amount to only a few pounds at most?
