Well I've started the intake manifold port & polish project. Got the manifold cut open and got the gaskets the other day. I got the correct fel-pro gaskets for it, the part numbers that are on this site, and the fel-pro site. Well after looking at how the gaskets line up I'm not 100% happy with the accuracy of the gaskets. I'm starting to think I should have gone with a ford gasket. Anyway, those of you who have used the fel-pro's for the manifold to IMRC gasket how did they line up? I mean I can make it work no problem but I'm not happy with the fit. If I line up the gaskets properly on one side the other side is all out of wack, by a good eighth of an inch too. Here's a few pics of one side lined up and the other not. I can work it to get a happy medium by lining up the middle and letting each side be off by a sixteenth but it's just not how I line to do things. Any one else have this issue with these gaskets?
