Once I got the front wheel and fender cover off, it was easy to see what was leaking.

According to the service manual cd, the part is the 'Brake Pressure Control Valve.' On Ford Parts Network, I saw a part listed as a 'Pressure Metering Valve' listed in the brakes section. If that is the part, it's gonna set me back $125.

Does anybody know if this part is fixable? The inlet and outlet nuts were tight, and the brake line appeared to be fine. I am going to go take a closer look, and I'll post more pictures if I find anything more.

RE: Found the brake fluid leak

Looks just like what I have going on. I was thinking a leaking line or brake power booster.
You may have steered me in the right direction.
I first noticed the paint peeling but never saw fluid.
It now puddles in the same manner.

RE: Found the brake fluid leak

SMOOTH8 Its a pressure control valve for rear brakes, part #2B091, not repairable unless you know the relief settings and have a test bench
