Hi, I just bought an 89 Mark VII from an auction on E Bay. A dealer had it. I drove it from Pa to NY. It had gas in it. When I whent to fill it up I couldnt find the switch to open gas cap door. Called dealer he had no idea. I opened it manually through the trunk but theres got to be another way. Great ride. Thanks for any help. the coop

In the arm rest, under the second glove box and forward. It's electronic. If there is no power then the manual release is in the trunk, rearward of the door and attached by a very thin, shiny steel cable to a black plastic T-handle.
This is one of the very few things that I have NOT photographed on this car

ROTFLMFAO..!!! You know I sat in front of the gas station a good 20mins with my book open tryna figure that one out my very first time..
HAHA.. I love my marky marx now thatz a man with some trix up his sleeves.. searched all over for that switch.. and I thought I was a smarts azz.. shoulda known my car was too..
