Get rid of the antenna

I have noticed on the auction site - motors parts & accessories Lincoln Mark VIII - that someone is offering a "hidden antenna" for about $20.
Yes, I saw that and wondered if anyone had tried it. I'm tired of replacing antenna masts.

You can get the hidden ones but spend a bit more so it's powerful enough. The one I used on my dads car was like a home stereo antenna. It's loose wire and you just lay it out under the dash hidden and tucked up away. Worked good and he got it at kragens.
