Please post your preferred dates(once we decide on a date, or a weekend, I can post this in the general area and see how many people). I just have to give the lake association an approximate number of people(plus so Frank knows how much to hit up Alex for).
I think either the second week of July, or the last week.
If not early August.
Let me know!
PS- we already have a grill and plenty of coolers. I just need to pick up charcoal and lighter fluid.

Where is this exactly and how far from new england is it?

I liked the Chateau restaurant because it was actually in Massachusetts in the center of most of the NE members. We shouldn't pick somewhere that is most of the way back toward PA since we have to drive there and back in one day. By all means have another meet later that's farther south for all NE and New york members but for our own meet its a lot easier to have it in Mass. I'll be there one way or another but I bet a lot of people won't show up if the drive is 3 and 1/2 hours instead of 45 minutes.

I would like to do two as well! As Jason suggests we may get more of a turn out if we go back to the Chateau in Norwood but you never know with this crowed. Ten people say their going to come and three actually show up. I also think it would be a blast to have a combined meet with New England Chapter and NY Metro chapter in Connecticut if possible. Thanks for the leg work John! So I guess I need to start e-mailing the troops or they can chime in here if they like. What is a good weekend for the Chateau? What is a good weekend for Connecticut?

I am not John, but live only a couple miles from him...LOL.
It is about 2h in normal traffic.

I am in for both meets BTW! Never been up to Norwood, the furthest I got so far was New Bedford, MA, so sure would be nice!

2 meets sound good. have the NE one at the restaurant soon like the next weekend (saturday) after the 4th of july weekend and then the connecticut one a month or so after, end of july or beginning of august.

don't worry about finding the restaurant, it was literally right off the highway with a big sign so no one can miss it.
at the same time we can convince whoever comes to the restaurant to come to the second meet in connecticut.
